Farewell to summer

When summer came this time, just like the changing of seasons, my life changed too. My son came to the world and I was suddenly a mother and protector of this small life outside of his dark, warm home inside of me. Life flourished like the greenery. The impossible seemed possible and everything looked warm. This summer was filled with so much love and joy it was almost like living in a dream. One I hope, that will out live all the seasons to come.
